How condition grading works
Every book is second-hand, so we grade each listing honestly. The condition badge on a book card tells you what to expect — the same title in two conditions is listed separately, at different prices.
Barely read. No markings, clean pages, tight binding — practically indistinguishable from new.
Lightly used. May have minor shelf wear or a name on the first page, but clean, complete, and very readable.
Well-read. Visible wear, possible creasing or light highlighting, but fully intact and readable cover to cover.
An older copy with age and wear consistent with a pre-owned book. Complete and readable; cosmetic condition varies copy to copy.
Grades shown above are a general guide; the exact labels come from our catalog. If a book arrives not as described, contact us at bechobook214@gmail.com and we’ll make it right.
