The bear

THE BEAR is not a fantasy or a dream - there really is a bear in Tilly's house, and as Tilly is a practical child she sets about making that bear welcome. Not so Easy! She dutifully reports progress to her parents who quite clearly think the whole thing is a figment of her imagination. But it isn't. Tilly knows the bear is real, but in her heart she also knows that bears don't belong in houses and sooner or later the bear's future will not belong to her. This engaging, touching and endlessly diverting book has brilliant, larger than life pictures.
